RE: WTH ! ! ! Tires
Yep, I'd say that's bona-fide road hazard damage.

RE: How important is 90 degree turning?
You don't need to get to 90 degrees, until you do. My experience has been that auto sliding hitches for short bed trucks are important.

RE: Need new tires
I've been disappointed the few times I strayed from Michelin.

RE: Traded in our old fifth wheel, bought a cougar
......Make sure the PDI is the most thorough you have ever seen. Talking to other Cougar owners it seems some units are sale ready when they hit the lot and some are not even close. Hold your payment until you are satisfied that the unit has been fully prepped and is ready for use......
Ditto. A good PDI should take about three hours.

RE: Tires- Tires - Tires
I don't know about Cooper, but the Sailun or GY would be my choice.

RE: Tow vehicle tire advice
I would only use E-rated tires on that vehicle.

RE: Tire Advice
Power King and Trailer King have the worst rap in the larger sizes. Carlisle gets good mention. GY Endurance gets the nod in your size.

RE: Certainly not very welcoming.
Their site, their rules. You can choose to participate, or not. I find good info here, regardless.

RE: Military Campgrounds
Typically those types of benefits go only to retirees and some special cases like disabled vets. If anyone with DD214 can participate, reserving these very limited RV spaces will be next to impossible, so I would not support it.

RE: Motorhomes with 19.5 vs 22.5 tires
My old 1996, 36' gasser with a tag axle had 16" tires and handled fine. Perhaps I didn't know what I was missing.

RE: Tree Fell onto My Fifth Wheel
Look closely at your gap insurance policy. Some are only good for the first five years or so.
